| Diane wrote a leadership column for eight years in Caring for the Ages, an official publication of the American Medical Directors Association, published by Elsevier Medical News Group. She has served on the Editorial Board of Caring for the Ages. Diane has also contributed to Executive Excellence, Leadership Excellence, HR.com, Journal of Nursing Administration, Sub-Acute Care Today, Health Forum Journal, Hospitals and Health Networks, Health Progress, Long-Term Care Interface, Contemporary Long-Term Care, and the International Journal of Humanities and Peace. A chapter on "Successfully Surviving Culture Change" was published in the book, Culture Change in Long-Term Care. The same chapter is published in a special issue of the Journal of Social Work in Long-Term Care. Another chapter, "Perspectives on Leading Complex Healthcare Delivery Systems" is in the Business of Healthcare book series published by Greenwood Publishing Group. |

| Diane holds a Doctorate in Education from the Executive Leadership in Human and Organizational Learning Program at George Washington University; a M.Ed. in Administration from Loyola College; and a B.A. in Sociology/Psychology from Howard University. The focus of her doctoral research was transformational leadership and hospital CEOs. |
